Missed-appointment rebooking texts for auto repair shops
Updated . In the Growth plan.
A customer did not show. Gearboxly sends one friendly text an hour later with a link to rebook.
What it does
The text goes out an hour after a no-show, with a link so the customer can rebook. It is never more than one, and it never goes out if they have already rebooked.
It is part of Gearboxly Marketing, with the same guardrails as every other message: opt-outs, quiet hours, spacing and a frequency cap. Texts only go to customers who agreed to receive them.
Missed-appointment follow-ups count toward your monthly campaign texts, which are 3,000 per location on Growth.

A customer misses the appointment
Gearboxly waits an hour.
- 2
One text goes out
