Declined work and estimate follow-ups for auto repair shops
Updated . In the Core plan and above.
Every repair a customer said not yet to, in one list: what it is worth, who is due for a call, and what you have won back.
What it does
When a customer declines a job on an estimate, it is saved to Deferred work automatically with the price, their car and the mileage. It gets a date for when it is worth raising again: about 30 days for urgent repairs, 90 days for ones that need attention soon, and 180 days for ones to keep an eye on.
Rather not call? Gearboxly can text customers about declined work over $75 at seven, thirty and ninety days, in messages in your shop's own words that you can edit. Several declined jobs become one message, you see who would get one before anything is sent, and it skips anyone who has had the work done since.
Estimate follow-ups stop the moment the customer approves, declines or books. When a customer comes back and the repair is done on a new repair order, it is marked as won back automatically. Both are on every plan.
