What Gearboxly does today
- Custom estimates. Type what needs doing as a job and add your own hours. A part line takes a custom price that stays exactly as you set it. Nothing needs to match a repair guide.
- Approval by text. Customers approve or decline each job from their phone and sign. The approval stays on the order.
- Check-in walk-around. Record fuel, keys, warning lights, belongings and existing damage when the car comes in.
- Appointments. Book, drag to move and resize appointments, with confirmation and reminder texts. Online booking comes with the Growth plan.
- Texting and payments. Texts from your shop's own number, and card, cash, check or a text-to-pay link.
- Customer profiles and portal. Every car and past visit on one profile. Customers can sign in to see their visits.
What it does not do yet
- There is no wrap or detail quoting by package, vehicle size or square footage.
- There is no film or material inventory tracking.
- There is no before and after photo gallery. Photos attach to inspection findings.
- There is no deposit or progress billing. Payments are taken on the repair order.
