What Gearboxly does today
- Repair orders. Open one in seconds, check the car in from your phone, and see every open order on the Workshop board.
- Digital inspections. Green, orange or red for each point, with photos and measurements. Findings become estimate jobs.
- Estimates and approvals. Text the estimate. Customers approve or decline each job and sign from their phone.
- Texting and payments. Two-way texts from your shop's own number, and a text-to-pay link. Card payments run on Stripe with no extra Gearboxly fee.
- Technician workspace. Techs see their cars, start and stop job clocks and request parts, all from a phone browser.
- Gearboxly AI (AI plan). Labor lookup, estimate drafts and inspection write-ups. AI suggests; a person checks everything before it is saved or sent.
What it does not do yet
- The native iPhone and Android staff app is coming soon. Gearboxly runs in the phone's browser today.
- Parts ordering inside Gearboxly is not live. Find parts opens your supplier's site from the repair order; direct Nexpart ordering is coming soon.
