While your account is open
We keep your shop’s records (customers, vehicles, repair orders, estimates, inspections, photos, messages, appointments and staff accounts) for as long as the shop’s account is open. Shops can delete individual records at any time.
When a shop closes its account
Records are kept for 90 days after the account ends, so the shop can return or request an export, and are then deleted.
What we keep longer
- Billing records and invoices for our subscription, up to 7 years, where tax law requires
- Text messaging opt-outs, permanently, so a person who asked to stop is never texted again
Staff accounts
When a shop removes a staff member, their sign-in, profile, notification settings and device notification tokens are deleted. Work they did on a repair order stays on the shop’s records, because those records belong to the shop.
