The parts matrix

A parts matrix gives cheap parts a bigger markup than expensive ones, the way most shops price. Each tier says: for parts costing up to this much, multiply by this. Leave the last tier's cost empty to mean "and above".

Turn the matrix off to use one flat markup for everything instead.

Parts for technicians

Technicians don't order parts. From the bay they tap Need something, then Request part, and the request lands at the top of the repair order for the service writer to order.
