Free Cricket Scoreboard
Runs, wickets, overs and run rate at a tap.
What is the Cricket Scoreboard?
Scoring a backyard or club cricket match by hand means juggling runs, wickets, overs, extras and the run rate all at once — and the maths for a run chase is easy to fumble. This scoreboard keeps all of it for you: tap the runs off each ball, mark wickets and extras, and it tracks the score, the overs and the run rate live.
Add the target for the second innings and it works out the required run rate too. Everything runs in your browser.

What does this tool do?
You record each delivery — 0 to 6 runs, a wicket, or a wide/no-ball — and it builds the innings: total runs and wickets, overs bowled in the correct balls-per-over format, and the current run rate. Wides and no-balls add a run without using up a legal ball, exactly as in real cricket. Set the total overs for the format, and enter a chase target to see the required run rate and balls remaining.
A this-over strip shows the recent balls so you can see how the over is going.

- Use the wide/no-ball button for extras so the over only advances on legal deliveries.
- Enter the target only for the side batting second — that's when required run rate matters.
- Use undo the instant you mis-tap a ball, since the run rate depends on every delivery.
- Keep the phone somewhere you can reach between balls so scoring stays in real time.
Common mistakes to avoid
Scoring extras as normal runs
Fix: Use the wide/no-ball button so it adds a run without counting a legal ball.
Forgetting to set the overs
Fix: Set total overs up front so run rate and the innings end are accurate.
Adding a target too early
Fix: Only the chasing side needs a target; leave it blank in the first innings.
Not undoing a misclick
Fix: Undo the ball right away — run rate is sensitive to every delivery.
